Partnering with parents to raise a generation for Christ

Kids Week

Each summer we have an amazing team of people that provides a way for kids in our community to hear the gospel in a fun, exciting, and captivating way. Kids Week is one of the highlights of our summer as we play games, teach the Bible, do crafts, and learn some really catchy songs! Kids Week takes place at several of our campuses across the Triangle.

Summit Kids Camp

We are very excited for this overnight experience to immerse our completed 2nd to 4th graders in the gospel. It will be the highlight of any kid’s summer as we play, sing, and study God’s Word together.

Gospel & Baptism Class

This class is a place where you and your elementary-age child will walk through the basics of the gospel and biblical reasons for baptism with Summit Kids staff. We provide resources for parents and give guidance during a time in which your kids are asking questions about the gospel, have made a profession of faith, or maybe just want to know why all those people are getting dunked after church! Sign up for the next available Gospel & Baptism class at your campus.

Parent Commissioning

Parent Commissioning is the Summit’s first opportunity to partner with parents as you build a strong foundation for your children, teaching them to love God, love each other, and love the world. We desire to come alongside you as you have children and learn what the Bible says about creating a gospel-centered home. There are two steps in this milestone for your family:

Parent Commissioning Orientation is the first step to Parent Commissioning at the Summit. We discuss God’s design for parenting and how the Summit plans to support you and partner with you in discipling your children.

Parent Commissioning Celebration is the second step, where we come together to celebrate your desire to raise your child up in a God-centered home. On the day of this celebration (during weekend services), we will bring you up onstage and pray for you as a church family.
